HADCO eBike Lending Library

The HADCO eBike Lending Library provides electrified bicycles and tricycles (eBikes) for HADCO residents to check out at no cost. Residents may use the eBikes to run errands, participate in local recreation, or as a general means of transportation. eBikes may be checked out in three-hour blocks. Reservations for eBike checkouts can be made in advance. However, HADCO reserves the right to limit the number of times an individual checks out an eBike to allow other residents the opportunity to participate in the program.

At launch, the eBike Lending Library will be a pilot program with three eBikes available for check out. If the program successfully demonstrates a need to expand the program, HADCO will seek additional grant funding to buy additional eBikes and establish Lending Library locations in more HADCO locations.

Please note: as this is a pilot program, certain policies and procedures may need to change as we work through getting the first group of participants registered and on their first rides. We welcome any feedback from residents about the program. Please use the Contact Us form to send in feedback about the program.

The program was proposed by the HADCO Resident Advisory Board and developed through a partnership with HADCO and the Umpqua Transportation Electrification Team (UTET). The goal of the program is to expand access to electric vehicles in the Roseburg area and promote the benefits of electrification. The program is funded by a Transportation Options grant from the Oregon Department of Transportation and a grant from the Oregon Environmental Council and UTET.
